1000 Words Book Cover Launch

Hi friends.

1000 WORDS: A Writer's Guide to Staying Creative, Focused, and Productive All Year Round will be published January 9, 2024. The cover is phenomenal. It was designed by the thoughtful and brilliant Patrick Sullivan and features the engaging and inspiring handwritten type of New Orleans hero/icon/beautiful soul Jacques Pierre François. What a team! I freaking love it.

This book is two things:

First, it is a collection of great and inspiring letters on writing, creativity, productivity and more from 54 of your favorite authors. I am so grateful for their time and permission to use their letters.

Second, it is a call to action from me, your pal Jami. Inspired by our conversations here, I have assembled my own words of wisdom and encouragement, plus specific strategies, on how to carve out a creative path for yourself all year round. My goal is to motivate you to write.
