A Connection Between Narcissists and Writing

Hi friends.

Here is something personal about me. My therapist says I have a high tolerance for narcissists. Like I can easily, happily let one into my life and be dazzled by them and give them the space and grace to be their most narcissistic selves. A narcissist commands all your energy and attention and are often, if they are clever, the most interesting person in the room. At least initially. Until you know all their tricks and games and patterns. But for a period of time I am able to appreciate all they have to offer.

This morning I woke up thinking my capacity for narcissists is connected to why I can write books, and have been able to consistently be productive for decades now.
