“What if I told you that all I wanted was for you to be a little bit happier in a world that seems hellbent on ruining our spirits?” I hate how true this is…
It is every reason! whenever I see people I haven’t seen in awhile and ask they are, the answer is the world is in tatters (more explicitly said) but at least I have (writing, art, books, music, film) fill in the blank! At least is the thread we cling to and your letters are a thread I grab every time I can! So thank you!
It is reason enough. It might even be the best possible reason for sending a letter. As someone who writes about politics for work, I can attest to how THANKFUL I am for your letters about simply writing. The only reason I can write about politics in the current state of the world is because I love writing. Writing helps me makes sense of the senseless. If the writing joy ever leaves me, I'm cooked. Your newsletter is a godsend around these parts.
Your “brand” is honesty. And that’s something we can all use more of. I look forward to these missives from a friend. We’ve never met, but you are a friend who sees me, and that’s why enough. Thank you, Jami.
Yes! I think I write for many when I get a real boost of confidence and encouragement from your missives. I know I’m not alone in this journey (wherever it is we’re going), and that’s such a gift!
I rarely comment but I value your letters greatly. Like a daily pep talk.

Yes it is a very good reason! And just what I need to read right now.
That’s so much more than enough! Thank you!!!
1000 percent!

Yes, it is, and thank you for that. Also, I agree. I want to focus on the writing and have fun with it. I hate the word "brand." Yuck, yuck, yuck!
No better reason Jami!
Your passion for writing has truly inspired all of us!

Thank you for sending the letter. I needed that.
Absolutely!
YES!!! Because that is when I feel like we are special friends and you are writing because you see ME.
Yes, and thank you. (Not the overused thank you, the real one)
