Hi friends.

As much as I can, I’m taking a break from social media while I finish editing this book. So away we go from instagram and bluesky. It’s only been two days off and I regret to inform you I already feel smarter. I do like posting pretty pictures on the internet, and I looking at all of yours, too. (And how will I put all those linen pants in shopping carts and never click buy, always an incredible use of my time.) But I’m trying to hold steady. Because I must finish this book.

And I’m not just thinking about finishing the book. I’m thinking about the ending of it. And what I’ve learned over the years about my process of writing an ending. What works for me may not work for you. But I’m going to write you about it anyway.
