It's so true that a handwritten note means so much. I have a friend who's a master at this. She'll send a note of appreciation for any small act--getting a coffee together, a ride back to the office, you name it. She also makes her cards. She taught me how. Some blank cards, some stickers and nice paper, a stamp or two, or some nicely printed sentiments, and that's all it takes. In minutes, you have a small stack of handmade cards.

These moments to give and receive are everything! Yesterday, a librarian helped me find a key I had dropped on an earlier visit to the library. I was so grateful and told her she truly made my day. She said, “That’s all I ask for when I come to work…to make at least one person’s day.”😊
