On minor characters and what to do with them.

Hi friends.

I need to write you at length about this weekend’s events with Kristen and Isaac but it’s going to require a little more time than what I have this morning. I can tell you that I secretly hired clowns to crash Kristen’s reading and it was a strange and fantastic delight.

There is one fun creative lesson I learned from it in particular, but I will save that for a rainy day. And I had a joyous time celebrating my friend and her wonderful novel. Like just an out-of-control good time with all my people.

But right now I have to get back to the work. Because I’m on a self-imposed deadline which is sometimes more serious than the ones that come along with contracts. I really just want to get this first draft done.

Currently one of the things I’m contemplating is what to do with all these minor characters I’ve acquired in this draft.
