Hi friends.
It rained off and on last night, but I still got out on my bike and went to a few art openings around town. I needed to leave my house and do something and be somewhere. If I learned one thing from the pandemic, it’s to take my opportunities to see the world when I can. And it was quiet on those streets. Quiet, shimmering streets, with that wet, fresh scent coming from the earth and plants and trees. That was nice.
On my bike I thought: Now is the time to do everything you want to be doing. Now is the time to write what you want to write. Make your shit. Say what you have to say.
On my bike I also thought: My brain is bruised but not broken.
