Hi friends.
Good morning from New Orleans, where I’m still in bed, looking at the empty suitcase in the corner which is waiting to be packed. This afternoon I’m flying to Chicago, where I have events on Monday and Tuesday. It’ll be an easy Sunday, I thought, when we were making the reservations.
However, the Swifties are here this weekend (there are so many polite young women wandering around town) and the airline said to get the airport three hours early because it’s going to be so busy. Three extra hours is a long time in an airport. I’ll bring a good book. Or maybe I’ll work.
I’ve been thinking so much about working smarter lately. I noticed I keep writing about it in my morning pages. I’ve been trying to shift a few things in my life, so I’m being strategic because I have to be. I have a really talented team of people I work with and a brilliant support network of friends, too, but in the end, as I’ve learned time and again, I’m the only one who can turn my life into something new. But how?
