A belated thank you for this entry. I was so inspired that I grabbed a pen and paper and started jotting down ideas about the through lines for one of my projects. It was so sudden and frantic that my dad said, "what is happening!?" ART, Dad! Art is what is happening.
I may have too many through lines -- on longing, on waiting for a sign, on appearance. But longing for something/someone is my base through line. And when one's longing is answered then comes the realization that it's the longing for, not the obtaining of the object itself, that is the sweetest.
