Oh, that is perfect! I'll be thinking about the connection between the point & the mystery, for me.

Meanwhile, b/c of the kind of week it is, it feels like "Green Eggs & Ham" #1000words:

Can I write them in a park?

Can I read them when it's dark?

Will I write them on a bus?

Yes, because that's when I must.

Good writing, all.

Oh good golly! Imani Perry’s four questions are beautiful and timely for my (our?) work these two weeks. Thank you for this North Star of a letter.

Well, that's a writing gem that I'm sticking in my pocket for the rest of my life. And so timely! I feel like I stumbled onto the heart of the story I'm working on this morning in my journal so excited to expound on it today. ✨

I'm so far behind, but I shall persist.

Are there going to be more writing together experiences in New York City? I am new to Northwest New Jersey and if I had known about the one last Saturday I sooooo would have loved to have been there. Simply curious and hopeful. :-)

Probably not because I don't live there. You can check on the slack and see if people are putting together writing groups though!

Hi Jami! Is there an updated link for the slack? I tried to join it via your prepping post and keep getting an error message: "This link is no longer active. To join this workspace, you’ll need to ask the person who originally invited you for a new link."

I tried to click on the link that you provided in comments for someone with the same issue and sadly got the same result. Sorry to request extra admin bandwidth from you—tech is not always my favorite thing either.

Signed,
