Hi friends. The sixth (!) year of #1000wordsofsummer starts June 17. Are you getting excited? I am feeling the energy and I am absolutely thrilled by this year’s list of contributing authors. I really think something magical is about to happen this year.
I recently subscribed, thus I am new to the process of making connections with other writers.
I am not sure if this is an appropriate request, so I am going to go for it anyway. I wondered if you can guide me in a direction to connect with a childrens book publisher, to reach out to about a story I wrote.
I would like to share and or connect with the daily 1000 words I am writing, and others are writing. The slack link states it is no longer active. I just signed up as a paid subscriber, in order to have the opportunity to connect with other writers. Thank you!

I clicked on the link you sent and did not see anyones 1000 words posted from this time period. Is there another option? I thought there was a space where we could post our writing and also be able to read others pieces. I may have misunderstood as to how this looks. I am writing, which is a good thing! Thank you!

This is an annual challenge. We already had this year's challenge - it's in the summer, in June, and it lasts for two weeks. (You can see the dates above on this page.) You can still get regular newsletters about writing weekly if you are signed up for this list. Good luck!

It's not still live. It is only live for one month a year surrounding the actual event. The event is in June.
