The juxtaposition of your lush, green view with my own of New England's falling leaves was stark. I could feel the heat and humidity from that picture! Gorgeous!
Loved this piece of advice the most: "Read the first chapter of a book you love and see how they did it and think about how it makes you feel." When I'm stuck, I open one of my favorites, maybe two or three, really, and then start reading. It seems to act like a spark plug on my creative brain. Thanks Jami!
So happy for you all, a big sigh of relief! And thank you for this post - it's come along at exactly the right time in the magic way the universe seems to drop things on my head when I need to see them. I've left that 'not quite finished' first draft novel sit for a month now. Time to pick it up, dust it off and carry on working.
I had lots of fun. I still am. :)

You hope I had fun? How uniting. How cool. I hope you had fun, too.
