Hi friends. I’m in an enjoyable state with my current project. I’m reading early in the mornings, around 6 AM, and then writing in my journal at a café down the road that has dog treats and good air conditioning. I like to walk my dog down there first thing before it gets too hot out and and handwrite for a while, and he sprawls next to me on the cool tile, and we can, for a moment, be out of the house, before the burning hellfires of a New Orleans summer drive us home again.

Thanks, Jami, I have been asking myself "how did I manage to write 1000 words a day for 2 weeks when now I am struggling for two weeks writing one new scene?"
