My problem is not knowing WHICH to return to? Is it the novel? The short story? The memoir? A new part of all three?? I fear focusing on one disappears the other and I REALLY want solid shiny pages to submit to agencies and presses.
How do you pick one..and stay with it without the angst?
I just write whatever is in front of my face, whatever feels most present and simplest to attack, and as long as I'm working, I don't feel the angst. As for the rest, if it's meant to get written, you'll get to it eventually. Good luck!
Hi! I'll be working on the novel I started during #1000wordsofsummer last year. Not really a second draft, more like a real first draft as opposed to just a very wordy outline of what is going on. It's nice to be doing it in the summer again, because the story takes place during a summer, so it feels more like I'm living in the story again.
I’ll do it for Sid.
