Hi friends. First, let me tell you that today I have launched the cover of the book which I have been writing for the past year. You can see here or here. I love it hard, and I am so excited for you to read it someday. And I wanted to say hello to all the new subscribers. Usually this is a newsletter about writing, and then, once a year, it turns into the #1000wordsofsummer project, where we all write 1000 words a day for two weeks straight. That day is coming soon: the project starts again on May 31 and runs through June 13.
Beautiful cover! For 1000 words of summer this year, I hope to get work done on the new book, maybe two essays/chapters, though the dates pretty much exactly coincide with my copyedits for the current book, so we'll see how much I can get through.
